Chickens

This is Rocket, the Rooster. When we bought our chickens, we got one rare-breed freebie. That was Rocket. Isn't he beautiful!?!

This picture gives you a good look at the naked-necks. (Their official name is Turken.) Whitey is not a naked-neck by birth. The bare spot on her neck and the flap of feathers hanging down are from a run-in with a wild animal. We are glad she's still around. She's one of our favorites.
