It has been years since we have celebrated Thanksgiving with just our family. I was concerned that we would really feel the lack, but although we missed you all a lot, it was a really nice day. And a really yummy dinner.
The pies, of course, are most important no matter who is at your Thanksgiving party. I wish you all could have been here to see the prettiest meringue ever on the Lemon Meringue pie. (We also had Cranberry, Apple Mince, Sunrise Sunset, Cherry Lemon and S'Mores pies.)
